Hello! Welcome to my blog!
My name is Janvi Huria, and I am an incoming first-year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from St. Louis, MO. I plan on studying Brain and Cognitive Science (Course 9) and Science, Technology, and Society (STS). I am fascinated by healthcare research and advocacy, and through years of extensively being involved in the nonprofit space, I advocate for the consideration of gender-specific biological and anatomic differences (not as a means of discrimination rather in the pursuit of individualized medicine) in the development of medicinal policy and solutions. I ultimately created this blog as a way to document some of my thoughts, experiences, and ideas with hopes that someone finds some value in them or can relate to them. This blog is formulated as a conversation I would have with a close friend, so I invite you to comment with your own thoughts. So, I officially welcome you to the conversation.
